It’s important to take care of the variety of your diet, so that your body gets all the vitamins and minerals it needs. If you still thought that vegetarians eat only plants, you’re wrong. A vegetarian’s menu is varied, nutritious, nourishing and healthy.
Rules of vegetarian nutrition
If you have decided to become a vegetarian, you need to do it wisely, adhering to a number of rules:
- You will have to give up meat, fish and other animal products forever. If you have chosen the path of a vegetarian diet, you can leave in your diet dairy products.
- The diet must be full, varied. Do not lock on the vegetables and fruits. To saturate the body with the necessary proteins, eat nuts and beans. Be sure to consume enough carbohydrates.
- Do not eat canned fruits and vegetables. On your table everything should be fresh and natural.

- Choosing this path of healthy eating, if possible, reduce the amount of salt and sugar intake, as well as unhealthy convenience foods. Give preference to natural sugar substitutes (honey).
- It is easier to practice a vegetarian diet if you have the support of your loved ones. However, don’t impose your views on family members if they are not ready for it yet.
